The day at Delhi Public School, Bangalore North started at 3:30 am with full excitement and enthusiasm. The participants commenced with the Yoga practices, Shramdaan activities and intensive sessions.
In the second half of the day, the participants got an opportunity to view the classic and inspiring movie ‘The Making of the Mahatma’. They had a glimpse of Gandhiji’s life experience as a barrister and his transition from being a man to a Mahatma. Audience got the rare opportunity to interact with Shri Rajit Kapur, who acted as Gandhiji.
The cynosure of the day was an ensemble of two artists Vidushi Jayanthi Kumaresh and Vidushi Indu Devi. Vidushi Jayanthi Kumaresh, who comes from lineage of musicians of six generations, cast a spell on the audience with her Saraswathi Veena. The mellifluous Rasa Sankirtanas rendered by Vidushi Indu Devi ended the day on a spiritual note.
