REPORT of DAY 4-Spic Macay ISC’17

“Art speaks the soul of its culture” -Abby Willowroot

Day 4 of Spic Macay ISC’17 at Delhi Public School commenced with routine Yoga practices Shramdaan activities and Intensive workshops.

The latter half of the day witnessed performances by globally acclaimed artists. The audience was enthralled by the celebration of beauty and the intricate technique involved in the Gotipua dance performed by young artists under the able guidance of Guru Chintamani Routh.

Dr. Krishna Kant Shukla, a multidimensional persona, enriched the gathering with his insight on relationship between current sciences and heritage. The audience was spellbound watching the phenomenal performance of the rare kuchipudi duet by mother and daughter, dancers par excellence, Vidushi Vyjayanthi Kashi and her daughter Kum Prateeksha Kashi.

The day concluded with a beautiful rendition by the great maestro, Shri Kumar Mardur, a renowned Hindustani Classical Vocalist .The powerful closing promised yet another day of joyful learning and showcase of phenomenal talents.
